Position to be filled from: 1st September 2025
Mission: Reporting to the Lead Science Technician and working closely with the Department coordinators, the Science Laboratory Assistant will help support our team of technicians and teachers in a vibrant and friendly atmosphere.
Role and Key Responsibilities:
- Your duties as a laboratory assistant will include preparation of materials and equipment for science lessons, set up and clearing of equipment in the classroom before and after lessons.
- You will also provide specific or ad hoc technical and administrative support to the department as and when required by the line management.
- You will be trained by our team of technicians and our school has a supportive team of staff who will assist you during your progress within the role.
Working hours per year: 24h per week over 40 weeks per annum (960h per annum) according to a timetable set by your manager. Possible late shifts over the week which will be agreed at a later date.
Location: South Kensington (London)
Monthly gross salary and benefits:
- £1,603.78 per month
