LETTINGS NEGOTIATOR LOCATION: Marlborough SALARY: £23,000 to £28,000 (OTE £40,000) JOB TYPE: Fixed Term Contract 12 Months Monday to Friday 8.30am to 6pm plus 1in4 Saturdays 9am to 1pm Role Purpose We have an exciting opportunity to recruit a Lettings Negotiator based in a beautiful office in Marlborough on a fixed term contract of up to 12 months. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a new challenge while working with a really varied lettings portfolio. As a Lettings Negotiator, you will be responsible for letting multiple properties and networking for new instructions. You will be responsible for registering and managing a list of applicants ensuring they are regularly contacted and offered new properties, producing lettings paperwork and ensuring that the tenancies are compliant and let in accordance with our Residential letting SOPS. Main tasks: * Register applicants on a software package * Maintain regular contact with your applicants and ensure they are offered suitable properties. * Set up viewings and accompany applicants on multiple viewings. * Source properties from other agents (where possible) * Network, search for and develop new business opportunities. * Ensure the SOPs for Residential Lettings are adhered to. * Operate in accordance with current legislation. * Liaise with clients throughout the marketing and letting process providing regular feedback. * Follow up viewings and provide feedback to our landlords. * Progress and negotiate offers when received. * Produce lettings paperwork. * Ensure cleared funds, references completed, signed contracts and correct compliance are in place prior to move-in * Cover for other members of staff as required particularly during holiday periods. Experience Required We are seeking someone with ideally some lettings experience, excellent communication, organisational and multitasking skills. You’ll be a strong team player, with the ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines. You will also be IT literate and comfortable working with databases and relevant software. Experience of the local area residential lettings market is highly desirable.
