We are hiring on behalf of our client, a well-established accountancy practice with over 15 years of success, supporting a diverse and growing client base across the UK based in South Woodford, London, providing a full range of accounting, tax, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of SME clients.
This is a full-time, on-site role based in South Woodford Green (London), for a Senior Accountant. The Senior Accountant will oversee financial reporting, manage client accounts, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. Responsibilities include:
- Preparing financial statements
- Overseeing tax filings
- Assisting with audits
- Managing day-to-day financial operations
The candidate will collaborate with clients, provide financial advice, and ensure best practices in accountancy are consistently upheld.
What we're Looking For
- Minimum 4+ years’ experience in an accountancy practice (essential)
- Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax compliance
- Experience managing client accounts and handling multiple deadlines
- Confident communicator with the ability to deal directly with clients
- Experience reviewing work
- Proficiency in accounting software and strong Excel skills
Qualifications
