Overview: I’m working with a fast-growing consumer goods business operating across D2C, subscription and retail channels, with a complex international supply chain and ambitious growth plans. They are looking for a Supply Chain Manager to take full ownership of planning, purchasing and supplier management, playing a critical role in ensuring product availability across a high-SKU, fast-moving portfolio.
About the role: This is a true end-to-end supply chain role, combining demand planning, purchasing, supplier management and logistics. You’ll own the full cycle from forecast through to product landing in the warehouse, working closely with international suppliers and logistics partners.
Key responsibilities include:
- Owning demand forecasting across D2C, subscription and retail channels
- Translating forecasts into purchasing plans and managing the full PO lifecycle
- Managing international suppliers, including regular performance reviews and planning alignment
- Coordinating inbound freight (sea and air), including long lead-time supply chains
- Working closely with 3PL partners to ensure stock accuracy and availability
- Monitoring forecast accuracy, stock levels and service performance
- Supporting NPD launches and product lifecycle planning
- Driving improvements in reporting, processes and data accuracy
Your experience:
- 3+ years’ experience in FMCG supply chain, purchasing or planning roles
- Strong demand and supply planning experience with a focus on forecast accuracy
- Experience managing international suppliers (ideally Far East / long lead-time supply chains)
- Proven ownership of purchasing and PO management
- Experience with high SKU portfolios and fast-moving environments
- Exposure to D2C or subscription-based businesses is highly advantageous
- Strong Excel and data capability, with a high level of attention to detail
- Comfortable working cross-functionally with commercial, NPD and operations teams
