Role: Senior Category Manager

Location: London / Hybrid

Package: £70,000 - £77,000 + package

THE ROLE

Reporting into the Head of Commercial Strategy they are seeking a strategically minded growth-focused Senior Category Manager to manage and own the category strategy for the UK.

You will maximise business and customer revenue, and sustain category leadership. Combining deep commercial acumen and an analytical mindset, the ideal candidate will be able to translate insight into compelling narratives and actionable recommendations that accelerate growth. The remit includes one direct report (Category Manager) so line management experience is preferred but not essential.

ABOUT YOU

  • 5 years\' experience in category management, insights, or commercial strategy within FMCG (preferably in food or drinks).
  • Strong experience with EPOS data and retailer insight platforms (Nielsen, Kantar, Dunnhumby, IRI, Sainsbury’s Nectar, etc.).
  • Direct experience with Top 4 UK grocery retailers.
  • Outstanding communication and presentation skills—adept at building compelling narratives from complex data.
  • Strong commercial acumen with experience in PPA, range reviews, and promotional planning.
  • Collaborative leader and hands-on team player, skilled at stakeholder management.
