Procurement Category Manager - Marketing & Visual Merchandising

Up to £60,000 plus bonus package

12 month fixed term contract.

Our Client

Our client is a well established FMCG business in the UK and Europe. They have a great range of well known brands and offer a diverse number of well known products.

The role

This role will join a well established and successful procurement team. The role will lead the procurement across 'Point of Sales', Visual Merchandising, Store Design, Packaging and Marketing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the procurement across marketing and packaging categories.
  • Building long term and strategic relationships with global suppliers.
  • Managing a wide range of internal stakeholders including the senior leadership team.
  • Leading and negotiating on various supplier contracts.
  • Ensuring 'procurement best practice' is implemented.

Required experience

  • 5 + years of procurement experience, sourcing marketing, POS or packaging.
  • Experienced working within the FMCG, Food or cosmetics industry.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Strong influencing skills, commercial and category management skills.
