Our client is an exciting, innovative and fast paced food business. They produce high quality, healthy food products that are well known across the UK and Europe.
This is a newly created role and will be an essential part of the supply chain team.
Responsibilities- Lead the procurement across various ingredients, building strategic relationships with both internal and external suppliers.
- Working closely with global suppliers and developing long term relationships.
- Managing the ingredients category and ensuring procurement 'best practices'.
- Working closely with the technical and NPD team, to support new product launches.
- 4 + years of procurement experience, sourcing ingredients or food procurement.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- A passion for the food industry!
- CIPS or Degree educated (ideally).
