We're looking for an experienced
National Account Manager to lead the relationship with ASDA, developing strategic partnerships and delivering profitable growth on a 14 Month Maternity Cover Contract.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the Commercial Leadership Team, you'll be responsible for creating and delivering joint business plans with key wholesale customers, driving distribution, increasing market share and executing best-in-class commercial initiatives.
Working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Category, Finance, Logistics and Field Sales, you'll have real influence over the commercial direction of the business while leading one direct report.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute strategic Joint Business Plans with ASDA
- Deliver volume, revenue and profit targets across your account.
- Identify opportunities to grow distribution and improve in-market execution.
- Build strong relationships with senior customer stakeholders and internal teams.
- Forecast accurately and manage commercial performance across your accounts.
- Lead negotiations and influence commercial decisions that deliver sustainable growth.
- Coach and develop a National Account Executive.
We're looking for someone who can demonstrate
- National Account Management experience within FMCG.
- Strong commercial and P&L management experience.
- Success managing Top 4 grocery supermarket customers
- Experience developing and delivering Joint Business Plans.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building and presentation skills.
- A proactive, commercially minded approach with a proven track record of delivering results.
- Previous people management experience would be advantageous.
