TalentPool have partnered with another scale up FMCG company on an exciting growth journey β expanding rapidly across the UK and entering new EU and international markets. As the business scales, they are looking for a Supply Chain Specialist (EU) to join their London HQ and support European operations. This is a newly created role due to growth, with strong potential to evolve as the company continues to expand.
The Supply Chain Specialist will be the go-to person for EU markets, working closely with 3PLs, sales, and planning teams to ensure smooth order processing and stock availability across multiple countries β each with its own regulations, packaging, and recycling requirements.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing EU supply chain operations and working closely with 3PL partners
- Overseeing order processing and stock allocation for EU customers
- Supporting packaging and labelling reworks for different EU markets
- Collaborating with Sales Ops and the Supply Planner to ensure stock availability
- Responding to EU customer delivery queries and resolving issues
- Using their ERP to manage supply chain processes
- Supporting continuous improvement as the business scales
This is not a management role initially, but there is clear scope for future direct reports as EU operations grow.
About the Candidate:
- Proficient German speaker (essential)
- Fluent in English
- Proven experience in sales operations and order processing
- Previous experience working with EU markets
- 3PL management experience highly desirable
- FMCG background preferred; other regulated supply chain environments (e.g. pharma) will be considered
- Strong attention to detail
