This is an opportunity to join a leading and global food business with award winning and market leading innovative products sold across 135 countries worldwide. We’re looking for a commercially sharp, relationship-driven Senior National Account Manager (or a high-performing 2nd rotation National Account Manager that is ready to step up) to drive growth within the Grocery channel for one of the fastest-growing categories in the UK.
The Opportunity
Reporting into the Head of Grocery you’ll lead and expand key accounts, shaping strategy, and delivering strong commercial outcomes. This is a chance to work in an agile, fast-paced environment where innovation, collaboration, and ambition thrive.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Own and deliver the growth strategy for defined retailers.
- Build and manage annual Joint Business Plans aligned to commercial targets.
- Take full accountability for account P&Ls, driving performance from top-line revenue through to margin delivery.
- Use category insights to strengthen partnerships and identify new opportunities.
- Lead promotional planning in collaboration with Revenue Growth Management and Trade Marketing teams.
- Partner with Marketing, Category, and Supply Chain to ensure execution excellence across the customer journey.
- Stay informed on shopper trends and evolving digital retail opportunities to shape future channel development.
What You’ll Bring
- 4-5 years’ experience in a Commercial FMCG or retail environment (for example if you are in a commercial buying role for a Top 4 Grocery retailer).
- Proven success managing national grocery accounts and delivering strong growth results.
- Ability to think strategically while maintaining a hands-on approach to execution.
- Resilience, ambition, and a hunger to seize every commercial opportunity.
