Our client is a well established FMCG-Food brand, based in London. They have a high performing procurement function and this is a newly created role.
This opportunity will focus on building long term relationships with global suppliers, working cross functionally on new product innovation (NPI) and leading commercial negotiations.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading the procurement across various ingredients categories.
- Building long term and strategic relationships with global suppliers.
- Working with the innovation team on NPD and NPI.
- Leading commercial negotiations on various supplier contracts.
- Ensuring 'procurement best practice' is implemented.
Required experience:
- 5+ years of ingredients procurement experience.
- Experience working within the QSR or Food Services industry.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong influencing skills.
- A passion for the food industry!
