The environment is fast-paced, collaborative, and commercially focused, offering significant exposure to multiple markets and cross‑border operations.
Purpose of the Role
This is a senior leadership opportunity to build and lead a pan‑European Supply Chain function; procurement, sourcing, distribution, and central production. The role is focused on creating a high‑performing, commercially driven capability that delivers long‑term cost competitiveness, operational resilience, and strategic value across a diverse portfolio. You will be responsible for shaping and scaling a best‑in‑class supply architecture that supports growth, integration, and sustainable differentiation.
Responsibilities
- Forming procurement category strategies, building scalable spend analytics, and delivering measurable cost advantages across multiple markets.
- Driving procurement synergies across brands, strengthening indirect spend management, and leading senior supplier relationships.
- Designing and implementing a multi‑partner distribution network while ensuring supplier diversification and risk mitigation.
- Establishing governance forums, developing supply chain talent across the portfolio, and building a unified operating system to enable consistency, transparency, and performance.
- Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders to ensure the supply chain is profitable, sustainable and at the forefront of innovation in the food sector.
- Investigating team structures and hiring additional headcount into the centralised supply chain team to help support long term strategies.
Required Experience
- Proven experience in food supply chain or procurement across multiple countries in Europe.
- Strong track record of delivering cost optimisation, supplier strategy, and large‑scale transformation initiatives.
- Experience managing complex, multi‑category spend (e.g. food & beverage, consumables, equipment, indirects).
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale supply chain functions or operating models within a multi‑entity or portfolio environment.
- Deep understanding of distribution networks, supplier ecosystems, and risk management strategies.
- Strong commercial acumen with P&L responsibility and experience aligning operations with investment or business strategy.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at executive and board level.
