We're exclusively supporting a leading QSR brand in the search for a Technical Manager to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-loved food brand during a period of transformation, playing a key role in ensuring the highest standards of food safety, quality and compliance across the business.

Our client is a leading QSR brand with a mission to make it easier for everyone to eat good food. As the business enters an exciting new chapter of growth, they're investing in their people, products and supply chain to build an even stronger future.

You'll take ownership of the technical function, working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure product quality, food safety and compliance across the business. This is a hands-on role with plenty of variety, covering:

  • Supplier management
  • Product specifications
  • Allergen management
  • Technical compliance

Responsibilities include:

  • Owning technical data systems and specification management
  • Working closely with NPD to ensure new products meet food safety standards
  • Managing supplier performance, product quality and compliance
  • Ensuring the quality, safety and legality of all food products
  • Owning product quality assessments and retail packaging approvals
  • Ensuring packaging and labelling complies with current UK legislation

Minimum 5 years' experience within food manufacturing, retail or foodservice.

Required skills:

  • Strong technical knowledge including HACCP, food safety and quality systems
  • Passionate about food, sustainability and delivering exceptional quality
  • Willingness to travel across the UK and Europe to visit suppliers
