TalentPool are partnering exclusively with one of Europe’s fastest-growing beverage companies, on a fantastic Head of Sales for their Grocery and Retail customer base. The business is family-owned, making a major impact across Europe and beyond, recently launching into markets in South Asia & Australasia. They supply a premium branded product into major supermarket retailers as well as smaller retail outlets and RTM's. The brand has done fantastic things over the last 24 months and has a very bright future in retail & ecomm channels.
Reporting to the UK Commercial Director, this role will:
- Manage and grow major grocery accounts including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, Waitrose, Ocado as well as Pureplay and RTM.
- Create and implement strategy with cross channel teams to win new business.
- Lead a team (2 initially and growing) and collaborate with wider commercial functions (category & shopper insights).
- Hold P&L responsibility and deliver against challenging yet exciting growth objectives whilst demonstrating high business acumen across the channels.
Requirements:
- Experience of selling across different channels including Grocery, Convenience etc.
- A proven team leader with an ability to coach and mentor to achieve the best results.
- A great influencer and communicator at all levels.
- Superb collaboration skills, comfortable working with multiple departments and colleagues.
The role will be based from their Head Office in Buckinghamshire with 2-3 days in the office required - but operate a flexible working culture.
