We are looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join our leading FMCG client and support their International business – driving profitable growth, influencing strategic decisions and shaping commercial performance across three exciting markets. What You’ll Be Doing
- Partner with the International teams, providing insight, challenge and proactive commercial recommendations.
- Evaluate Joint Business Plans, ensuring strong ROI and commercial feasibility.
- Lead promotional plan evaluation, using data to optimise spend, mix and margin.
- Support pricing strategy, ensuring delivery against price, mix and profitability targets.
- Deliver clear, concise period‑end reporting and commercial commentary to senior stakeholders.
- Join key customer or distributor meetings to support commercial negotiations when required.
- Own the S&OP commercial forecasting process, driving accountability and accuracy across regions.
- Lead the commercial Budget and Strategic Plan cycles.
- Review monthly performance, drivers and variances, ensuring clear understanding and alignment on risks and opportunities.
- Provide key inputs into global Sales Demand Reviews to support volume forecasting and supply planning.
- Own the P&L for the International markets, ensuring accurate income recognition, trade spend and discount management.
- Manage associated commercial balance sheet accounts with rigour and financial discipline.
- Drive improvements in tools, reporting, forecasting models and commercial processes.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, including accruals, rebates and customer/distributor financial management.
Your Skills & Experience
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
- Strong FMCG experience (highly preferred).
- Proven commercial business partnering experience with the ability to influence senior stakeholders.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP systems.
- High numerical and analytical ability; confident working with complex datasets.
- Excellent communication skills – able to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
- Ability to work at pace, manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail, curiosity and a drive to understand underlying performance drivers.
- A collaborative approach and strong stakeholder relationship‑building skills across functions and geographies.
