We are looking for an Operations Finance Analyst to join a leading FMCG and support the delivery of high-quality financial reporting and analysis to the Operations and Supply Chain functions. This is a highly analytical role working closely with the Head of Operations Finance, providing meaningful insights that support operational decision-making, cost control and continuous improvement across the business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation of the Annual Operating Site Budget ahead of Board review.
  • Assist with monthly re-forecasts, identifying potential risks and opportunities throughout the year.
  • Business partner with operational department heads to develop cost projections and monitor performance.
  • Analyse actual spend vs budget and forecast, ensuring robust challenge and effective cost control.
  • Manage and track the overheads forecast, working closely with department leaders to highlight emerging risks and opportunities.
  • Prepare monthly management reports and assist with the month-end close process.
  • Provide insightful commentary and analysis for the monthly management accounts review.
  • Track and analyse weekly operational and financial KPIs to support management in driving operational performance and continuous improvement.

Cost Accounting & Systems

  • Maintain accurate financial and cost data within the ERP system (SAP).
  • Support the delivery of accurate product costing and pricing information for commercial teams.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting.

  • Previous experience in a finance/accounting role.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing or operational environment - beneficial but not essential.
