TalentPool are working on behalf of a consumer goods business in Hampshire that have had consistent year on year growth. They are now seeking an experienced and commercially minded Demand Planning Manager to lead and transform the demand planning function across the UK & Ireland. This is a newly created, high-impact role responsible for delivering accurate forecasts, optimising inventory performance and driving S&OP excellence. Working closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance and Operations, you will ensure strong alignment between commercial objectives and supply chain execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage accurate demand forecasts for a high number of SKUs, using data, market insight and promotional plans
  • Support the development and integration of an industry leading S&OP process
  • Lead the monthly Demand Review as part of the S&OP process
  • Analyse forecast accuracy and drive continuous improvement
  • Act as system lead for ERP / planning tools
  • Coach and develop the Demand Planning team
  • Identify and implement process improvements and automation initiatives

About You

  • Proven experience in developing an S&OP process within a business
  • Experienced demand planner with strong analytical and forecasting capabilities
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems
  • Confident communicator with excellent cross-functional collaboration skills
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver measurable process improvements
