The role
You will be an essential part of the procurement team, buying a range of proteins, produce, dairy and other ingredients categories.
Responsibilities include:
- Lead the procurement across various food & ingredients categories.
- Building long term and strategic relationships with global suppliers.
- Ensuring risk is managed where possible to ensure supply.
- Working cross-functionally with internal stakeholders.
- Leading and negotiating on supplier contracts.
- Ensuring 'procurement best practice' is implemented.
Required experience
- 4 + years of procurement experience within food or ingredients.
- Experienced working within the food or FMCG industry.
- The ability to work both autonomously and as a team.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Strong influencing skills, commercial and category management skills.
