A dynamic, high-growth, beauty, personal care and lifestyle SME brand is seeking a talented Trade Marketing Manager to lead the development and execution of trade and retail marketing activity across the UK and EMEA. Working in close partnership with Sales, this role will drive sell-through, visibility, and commercial performance across key retail partners.
Reporting into the Head of Sales, this position sits at the intersection of brand and commercial strategy, translating business priorities into impactful in-store and digital retail activation. This is a highly creative & commercial role with ownership of retailer activation plans, promotional mechanics, POS development, digital retail content, and launch execution, ensuring trade investment delivers measurable ROI and supports long-term customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Drive sell-through across UK and EMEA by delivering retailer-specific trade and activation strategies.
- Partner with Sales to translate Joint Business Plans into clear, revenue-driving activation roadmaps.
- Lead end-to-end retail activation including POS development, launches, secondary siting, and in-store execution.
- Develop and optimise digital retail and eCommerce assets to maximise online visibility and conversion.
- Plan and evaluate promotional activity, ensuring trade investment is ROI-driven and commercially disciplined.
- Own POS and EPOS budgets, tracking spend, performance, and market share across the region.
- Monitor execution standards and compliance across physical and digital retail environments.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Supply, agencies, and EMEA partners to ensure seamless execution.
- Experience in Trade Marketing, Category, or Commercial Marketing within FMCG, Retail or consumer brands, ideally with beauty/personal care experience.
- Strong understanding of the UK retail landscape (e.g. Boots, Superdrug, Grocery).
- Experience across 1–2 EMEA markets advantageous, but not essential.
- Proven experience working closely with Sales and supporting Joint Business Plans.
- Track record of delivering in-store activation and POS execution.
- Strong commercial acumen with a clear understanding of margin and ROI.
- Excellent project management and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
