I'm partnering with a rapidly growing food and technology business that is transforming how products move through the foodservice supply chain. Following significant growth, they are looking to hire a Senior Planning Manager to take ownership of forecasting, inventory, supplier performance and operational planning across the business.
About the Role
Reporting into the Director of Procurement & Operations, this role will sit at the heart of the business, key responsibilities include:
- Lead the end-to-end demand and supply planning process across multiple product categories
- Own forecasting and inventory planning, working closely with commercial teams to understand demand changes and customer requirements
- Manage supplier performance, monitoring service levels, stock availability and operational KPIs
- Act as the key point of contact for warehouse and logistics partners, resolving supply issues and driving improvements
- Manage and develop a junior planner, building capability within the planning function
Your Experience
- 4+ years' experience within demand planning, supply planning, inventory planning or materials planning
- Background within FMCG, food, foodservice, consumer goods or another fast-paced supply chain environment
- Strong forecasting, inventory management and analytical skills
- Experience operating within a growing or entrepreneurial business would be highly advantageous
