Talentometry have partnered with a highly respected, specialist M&E contractor with decades of experience delivering complex, high-quality installations. Following sustained growth, they are looking for an Electrical Installation Contracts Manager to join their team. This role is ideal for an ambitious manager who wants a clear, structured pathway to step up into a Projects Director position in the future.
The Role
- Take ownership of a diverse portfolio of projects from initial design handover through to final commissioning and client sign-off.
- Deliver multiple electrical installation contracts from start to finish, ensuring projects are completed on schedule, within scope, and to budget.
- Manage projects across a wide variety of sectors including schools, universities, general offices, new build Cat A offices, retail and shop fitting, industrial units, and hospitals.
- Coordinate direct labour and manage specialist sub-contractors across various sites.
- Oversee commercial control, including monitoring project financials and procurement of materials.
- Complete and manage risk assessments (RAMS) to ensure strict health and safety compliance.
- Act as the key technical point of contact for clients, architects, and main contractors.
What We’re Looking For
- Strong background in Building Services with a proven track record managing multiple electrical installation contracts.
- Direct experience delivering projects across the specific environments mentioned above (education, commercial/Cat A, retail, industrial, and healthcare).
- City & Guilds or NVQ Apprenticeship in Electrical Installation.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations.
- A valid ECS card.
- A proactive, detail-driven individual with unrelenting ambition to eventually move into a Directorship role.
- Comfortable working from a North Birmingham office base when not on site.
