We are working with a highly established, award-winning control system integrator to recruit a Control System Engineer with a strong electrical design bias. Known for delivering turnkey control, automation, and instrumentation solutions for some of Europe's most complex national infrastructure and bespoke engineering projects, this company has been recognized with multiple prestigious innovation and civil engineering awards.
This is a hybrid role (3 days in the office, 2 days at home) with some travel for commissioning (less than 20% of the year). You will be leading a team to deliver full-lifecycle projects within highly diverse and exciting environments.
Culture & Progression: This is a business where people are highly engaged, boasting exceptional staff retention and an impressive average length of service. In fact, 60% of their engineers started their careers here as apprentices or graduates, and almost all of their current open roles are a result of internal mobility and promotion! There is a real sense that developing people goes beyond the usual lip service. As an IET Enterprise Partner with a significant Learning & Development budget, an incredible 15% of engineers are on long-term training. This is proper, structured training that supports professional registration and goes well beyond the standard 3-day Siemens or EPLAN course you might be sent on elsewhere. The company also has an internal academy to support your development so you can progress; there are several defined paths to move forward within engineering, applications, or service.
Experience we are looking for:
- PLC Design (full project lifecycle)
- Electric Design (varied incoming distribution along with experience of change over systems)
Application Process: We are only able to consider applications from individuals who are already eligible to legally work in the UK from the start of employment (no visa sponsorship is available).
