We are talking to mid-level EPLAN Design Engineers who are questioning their current trajectory. Are you stuck in a rigid corporate structure, waiting for someone to leave before you can step up? This role is designed specifically for a Project Engineer who wants to learn directly from a Senior EPLAN Engineer within a rapidly growing division that offers a clear, defined roadmap for your own progression.
You will be designing critical safety systems including fire suppression, gas detection, pumps, and valves. Projects are across highly regulated environments like the MoD, energy, and pharmaceuticals.
The business believes that the best engineering happens collaboratively. While the role is primarily based in their Manchester office to accelerate your learning and teamwork, they champion practical flexibility. Forget strict 9-to-5s; whether you need to manage the school run or prefer to start early and finish early, you have the autonomy to shape your hours around your life.
You won't just be stuck behind a screen, either. Whilst it is heavily office based you will take ownership of your designs by supporting site commissioning and be able to visit to support your development. When you do travel to site, you're paid door-to-door, with highly lucrative uplifts including an extra £150 a day on top of your standard pay for international site work.
We're looking for:
- Proven electrical design experience using EPLAN (this is essential).
- A Project Engineer mindset...someone comfortable working as part of a collaborative team and eager to elevate their skills under senior mentorship.
- The willingness to attend site for commissioning to see your projects over the line.
- Exposure to safety systems (fire, gas, pumps, valves) is ideal, though heavy machinery or process safety/TUV is not required.
- Eligibility to obtain security clearance in the future (this will be handled and funded internally).
If this sounds like the environment you need to accelerate your career, then please click apply. We are only able to consider applications from individuals who are eligible to work in the UK.
