Talentmark are recruiting for a Flexible Technician to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis for 6 months, with high likelihood of being extended further. This role is site based in Reading (Berkshire) and Wokingham (Surrey). Company: Our client is a world leader in food, confectionery and beverages. Salary: 13.35 per hour, 36 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9 am to 5 pm with a 45 minute lunch break. Technician Role: Flexibly work in different laboratories across both Wokingham and Reading sites, as required. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Food Safety Procedures to produce food products at lab scale or manufacturing scale. Perform basic routine analysis, product manufacturing and sample preparation under senior supervision. Use the LIMS (Q-Pulse) system to record information. Keep an organised and accurate record of lab work carried out. Calibrate lab equipment as required.Your Background: Educated up to A-Level/HNC/BTEC level in a Science.
