Talentmark are recruiting for a Laboratory Assistant to join a global leading food brand company at their site based in Wokingham on a contract basis for 6 months.

Salary: Up to £13.12 per hour PAYE.

Laboratory Assistant Role: You will efficiently administer samples for scientific analysis by creating records, assigning analytical tests, allocating samples for analysis, maintaining chain-of-custody for controlled samples, inputting results and liaising with clients. This role requires you to apply your organizational skills to meet tight deadlines. You will be responsible for all scientific administrative tasks including lab administration, housekeeping activities and working in accordance with laboratory-set quality standards. You will also assist with routine checks/calibrations and control documentation to ensure that only the most current versions are supplied to analysts. This role will require you to work at the highest standards of safety and quality, maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment and completing assigned quality actions in a timely manner.

Your Background: Experience in a GMP/GLP environment beneficial. Educated to A-level/HNC level (or equivalent) and/or have appropriate industry experience to be able to fulfil role requirements. Good understanding of basic lab equipment. Computer literate in standard MS office applications.
