Talentmark are recruiting for a Laboratory Technologist to join a dynamic and innovative polymers company who are based in Southampton on an initial 3 month contract basis.
Location
The role is fully based at the clients site in Southampton.
Role
- Performing a variety of polymer testing including MFI, Mechanical testing, DSC, HDT/Vicat.
- Analysing and reporting data both internally and externally.
- Report writing for internal and external customers.
- Managing the workflow of the day-to-day operations of the laboratory.
- Managing quality complaint system.
Your Background
- Educated to degree level or above in a relevant scientific/engineering discipline.
- Experience in Polymer Chemistry would be beneficial.
- Previous relevant experience in materials testing.
- Demonstrable ability to generate data accurately and write reports.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills (internal and external).
