Talentmark are recruiting for an Information Scientist to join a global pharmaceutical company on a contract basis initially for 12 months.
Salary: £28.97 phr PAYE, or £39.85 phr Umbrella
Information Scientist role:
- Responsible for translating scientific and business questions into effective information strategies.
- Design analytics workflows for literature discovery, leveraging AI enabled tools.
- Apply AI enabled capabilities to enhance information retrieval, summarisation, and categorisation.
- Ensure data is structured for scientific use.
- Provide training on AI/NLP tools for content analytics.
- Ensure adherence to copyright, licensing, and data governance standards.
Your Background:
- Scientific degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Experience or interest in NLP and LLM applications.
- Familiarity with data visualization and scientific communication tools.
- Knowledge graph and ontology management.
- Python and AI frameworks for text analytics.

Location: This role is based at our client’s site in Slough (Hybrid 4 days on site).
