Talentmark are recruiting for a Research Associate to join a new lab in London embedded in one of Europe's leading life sciences venture ecosystems on an initial 12 month contract basis.
The Company: This lab supports early-stage biotech companies developing and running complex in vitro assays that help guide real-world drug discovery.
Location: This Research Associate role is located in Kings Cross in Central London.
The Role: Your main duties will be to:
- Perform plate-based assays (e.g. 96 well, microtitre) as well as Flow Cytometry and ELISA Assays.
- Culture and maintain human cell lines and PBMCs.
- Maintain high standards of record-keeping for delivery of data and reports to clients.
- Communicate data and advise on strategy to external stakeholders.
Your Background:
- Educated to Bachelor’s or Master’s degree level in Biology, Biochemistry, or a related field.
- Hands-on experience in a similar cell biology or immunology focused lab environment.
- Experience with Flow Cytometry, ELISA, Cell Culture or Cell Based Assays would be beneficial.
- Experience maintaining electronic note books.
