Talentmark are recruiting for a Laboratory Technicianto join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis for 6 months, with high likelihood of being extended further. This role is site based in Reading, Berkshire.

Salary:
£13.35 per hour, 36 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 9 am to 5 pm with a 45 minute lunch break.
Laboratory Technician Role:
- Prepare for laboratory tasks using appropriate scientific techniques, procedures and methods.
- Use Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to perform lab tasks, and operate basic lab equipment.
- Use the LIMS system to record information.
- Analyse, interpret and evaluate data from lab work.
- Keep an organised and accurate record of lab work carried out.
- Calibrate lab equipment as required.
Your Background:
- Educated up to A-Level/HNC/BTEC level in a Science.
- Laboratory experience would be advantageous.
- Meticulous and organised, with strong attention to detail.
- A strong team player.
- Good knowledge and experience of using Microsoft Office software.
- Good understanding of lab equipment.
- Passionate about food!
