Talentmark is recruiting for a Quality Technician to join an animal health company on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is site based in Newport, Wales. Salary: From £12.21 ph to £16.77 ph depending upon experience.
Responsibilities
- Support laboratory operations, specimen processing, and quality assurance.
- Analysis of test specimens.
- Safely lift and transfer laboratory samples and equipment.
- Log and scan samples into proprietary applications/databases.
- Receive and catalogue supplies, including reagents and chemicals.
Your Background
- Hold a degree in Life Science or a relevant field, or have equivalent working experience.
- Strong pipetting skills and experience.
- Knowledge of ISO 17025 standards.
- Experience and comfort level working with chemicals in a lab setting.
- Ability to set priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail.
