Talentmark are recruiting for a Project Engineer to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis for an initial 6-9 months, with likelihood of being extended further.   Location: This role is site based in Worcestershire, minimum 4 days per week.   Company: Our client is a world leader in food, confectionery, and beverages. They operate in over 70 countries worldwide and currently have almost 100,000 talented employees working for them. They have a strong foundation of iconic brands, which makes them a very established company within the field.   Salary: £25.32 - £31.68 per hour depending on experience.   Project Engineer Role:   This role will require a broad range of project management and engineering skills, with a focus on ATEX improvements across the facility.   Key Responsibilities: The development of engineering design and specifications for authorised Capital projects to meet requirements of safety, quality, and hygiene. Manage the sites assets in terms of verification and write off with a clear change control process. Ensure tender packages are prepared and reviewed, tender returns are evaluated, peer reviews conducted, and commercial terms are negotiated. Ensure project costs are managed using ERP tools (SAP and Coupa) and capital spend is managed and forecast. Manage contractors to ensure work is carried out safely, efficiently, to the highest quality standards.  Your Background: 5 – 10 years’ experience in a high-volume manufacturing industry, preferably food, beverages, or pharmaceuticals. Significant experience in the identification and delivery of Capital projects up to a value of £1MM. Demonstrated experience in project delivery in high volume manufacturing environments.
