Talentmark is recruiting for a R&D Manager to join a company in the Materials Manufacturing industry at their site based in Longridge, Preston on a permanent basis. Our client is a leading global manufacturer of specialist materials, which includes a wide range of Composite Materials, Electrical Insulations, Mica Products and Textile Products.
Responsibilities include:
- Leading and coordinating the research, development and technical services function across all site competence.
- Liaising with your team, Sales, Production Planning, Production Management, Quality / HSE, Maintenance and Purchasing by providing technical support for any new or ongoing development projects.
Qualifications required:
- Masters degree or a PhD qualification in a science related subject, such as chemistry, applied chemistry or material science.
- Accomplished senior manager within a complex manufacturing environment, working within a technical or research and development function with responsibilities for technical support, new product or process development.
