Talentmark are currently recruiting for a Design Engineer on behalf of a fantastic business based in Lancashire on a permanent basis. This is an office-based position, working Mon-Thurs 8am-4:30pm and Fri 8am-1:30pm.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Design and development of new (and existing) products, taking concepts through to full production
- Creating and maintaining all relevant specifications, part numbers and bills of materials
- Producing accurate, robust costings and quotes
- Liaising effectively with internal and external customers, with off site visits to suppliers and customers as required
Essential skills:
- Qualification in an Engineering discipline
- Previous hands-on experience in an industrial environment is required (sheet metal industrial environment experience would be a strong advantage)
- Previous CAD experience (Ideally 3D)
- Full UK driving license.
