Talentmark are recruiting for a Site Logistics Coordinator to join a multinational energy company, on a contract basis for 6 months.
Salary: Paying up to £333.76 per day PAYE or £443.91 per day Umbrella
Site Logistics Coordinator role:
- Receiving of Material / Equipment and management of any problems related to damaged or discrepancies of cases / equipment.
- Storage and preservation on-site and with partner/subcontractors.
- Spare parts management.
- Manage the Proper Receipt, Storage, Handling, and Preservation of Hitachi Energy Equipment at Site or remote storage.
- Ensure equipment is received, stored, and handled correctly.
- Look and start the process for remote storage: Visit, Quote, Approbation, Purchase Order.
- Manage the remote storage area with supplier or partner/subcontractor.
- Coordinate with the Installation Team and the Logistics Team in the Handling of Deliveries.
Your Background:
- Previous experience working as a stores logistics coordinator, Site Material Coordinator, Warehouse Supervisor, Logistics Coordinator, Construction Logistics Lead, Site Storekeeper.
- Industry experience in any of Power transmission/distribution, renewable energy projects, Heavy industrial construction.
- Demonstrable experience of logistics & materials, good receiving and inspection, inventory management.
- Prior experience of heavy construction/site, coordinating subcontractors.
- Experience of documentation & systems, maintaining registers, NCR.
- Health & safety background, construction site HSE awareness.
