Talentmark are currently recruiting for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a fantastic business based in Cramlington on a permanent basis. The role is working a continental shift pattern, 12-hour shifts days and nights. The pattern provides for every other weekend off. Salary: Between 50,000 - 55,000 inc shift allowance plus benefits.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance of production equipment and assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment.
- Perform calibrations and corrections on equipment such as load cells and temperature controllers.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs, using a CMMS system.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies, including but not limited to permits to work, pre-work risk assessment and method statements, LOTO, ATEX.
Essential skills:
- Qualification in Electrical Engineering (HNC or equivalent).
- Proven experience in fault finding and troubleshooting on PLCs is essential.
- Strong technical knowledge of electrical circuits, with the ability to read and understand electrical drawings.
- Knowledge of ATEX zoning (desirable but not essential).
It is essential all applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
