Talentmark are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Representative on behalf of a global manufacturer of precision measuring instruments and equipment, on a permanent basis. This position is field-based, with regional travel across the North East. Standard hours are Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit clients and potential customers to identify needs and promote company products and services.
- Develop a strong understanding of metrology principles and applications.
- Generate and qualify sales leads, working alongside specialists where appropriate.
- Prepare quotations, negotiate with clients, and close sales.
- Support exhibitions, product demonstrations, and marketing events as needed.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience in a technical sales or field sales role (preferably within measurement, engineering, or manufacturing).
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Technical aptitude with the ability to learn complex product ranges.
- Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to manage your own territory.
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel within the North East region.
