Talentmark are recruiting for a LC-MS Scientist to join a leading full-service CRO at their site based in South Wales on a permanent basis.
The Company: Our client is an established and expanding CRO that offer full-service clinical development solutions.
Location: This Principal Scientist role is located a commutable distance from Cardiff, Newport and surrounding areas.
Your main duties will be to:
- Hold a degree in a scientific discipline or equivalent; advanced qualification desirable.
- Have extensive experience using LC-MS/MS in a regulated laboratory environment (GCP, GLP, GMP).
- Demonstrate a proven track record of leading LC-MS/MS-based studies, including method development, validation, and routine sample analysis.
- Exhibit deep technical expertise in mass spectrometry.
- Show a strong understanding of bioanalytical method validation.
- Have experience in reviewing and approving analytical data, reports, and study documentation.
Your Background:
- MSc or PhD in a relevant discipline.
- Experience within a CRO or clinical trial environment.
- Knowledge of MHRA Phase I Accreditation scheme requirements.
- Experience in process improvement, operational efficiency, or workflow optimisation.
