Talentmark are recruiting for a Development Chemist to join a Chemicals Manufacturing company at their site based in Greater Manchester on a full time, permanent basis, for a salary range of £35,000 - 45,000. An internationally recognised UK manufacturer of specialist industrial lubricants, known for its strong focus on innovation and formulation science. With integrated R&D and manufacturing facilities, the business develops tailored solutions for complex engineering applications, supplying customers worldwide via an established global network.
Responsibilities include:
- Create customer-facing (TDS etc) and internal documentation (QC specification etc) and SAP records for new products.
- Liaise with Quality Control regarding problems with samples, batch monitoring and creation of QC specification for new products, including Safety Data Sheets.
- Work with other departments such as Commercial and Marketing as required.
Qualifications:
- Chemistry degree (or above) desirable.
- Be comfortable in a laboratory environment.
- Industrial lab experience.
- Familiarity with product development methodologies – research, sample preparation, testing, review desirable.
