Talentmark are recruiting for a Research Software Engineer to join a growing biotechnology company, on a permanent basis. Location β West London. This role offers Hybrid working with 3 days per week in the office. Salary - Β£50,000 - Β£65,000 per annum depending on skills and experience.
This role would be suitable for a recent PhD graduate, a degree level candidate with post study industry and academic experience, or a more experienced Software Engineer looking to continue developing their career. Our client is a biotechnology start up that has developed a cutting edge, bench top analytical device. Their product is based on years of cutting-edge R&D and enables the rapid development of novel therapeutic Nanoformulations.
Skills and Criteria:
- Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Bioengineering, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Python programming, and experience with some of NumPy, SciPy, Pandas, Matplotlib, Sklearn and PyTorch.
- Experience with hardware integration or interfacing software with laboratory instruments.
- Familiarity with development lifecycles, version control, testing and documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a collaborative and multidisciplinary environment.
