Talentmark are recruiting for a Scientific Data Analyst to join a global pharmaceutical company on a contract basis initially for 12 months. This role is based predominantly at the client’s site in Slough but with some home working.
Salary: 22.40 per hour PAYE, or 30.81 per hour Umbrella (inside IR35)
Scientific Data Analyst role:
- Apply scientific knowledge alongside coding, data analysis, and AI-enabled methods to extract insights from biomedical literature and external data
- Develop and support programmatic workflows for scientific data analysis
- Apply data science techniques to extract trends and insights
- Build automated pipelines for content analytics
- Use AI and NLP tools for text mining and summarisation
Your Background:
- Degree in life sciences, data science, a related field or have equivalent working experience
- Basic programming skills
- Excellent analytical skills
- Experience with NLP, machine learning, or scientific data would be an advantage
- Familiarity with metadata, ontologies, or knowledge graphs
