Talentmark are recruiting for Distribution Centre Operatives to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 3 months. This role is fully on-site, in Goddards Green, Hassocks, West Sussex. There are 2 shift patterns available; you will either work the AM shift continuously or the PM shift continuously. Salary and shifts:
- AM shift: 7.30am - 3.30pm - (30 min lunch break) - £15.47 PAYE basic pay rate (excluding holiday pay)
- PM shift: 1.00pm - 9.00pm - (30 min lunch break) - £17.01 PAYE basic pay rate (excluding holiday pay)
Distribution Centre Operative Role:
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately (correct item, quantity, batch number and expiry date).
- Receive deliveries and store stock in the correct area (ambient, chilled or frozen).
- Load and unload vehicles and move stock to keep picking areas topped up.
- Handle urgent orders, cross-docked items and customer returns.
- Use the SAP warehouse management system (WMS) and follow housekeeping/quality procedures to keep the warehouse safe and organised.
Your Background:
- GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths & English.
- Warehouse experience is desirable.
- Forklift licence is desirable, training can be provided.
- Good attention to detail and comfortable using computer systems (SAP, MS Office).
- Reliable, flexible team player who can follow procedures.
It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
