Talentmark are recruiting for a Haemostasis Scientist, on behalf of a medical diagnostic company. This role will be based at their site in Sunderland and is a permanent role with Mon-Fri day time working hours.
The Role: To support the Haemostasis Product Group with Product Validation Projects.
Responsibilities:
- Perform lab-based Haemostasis testing, ensuring completion of projects in a timely manner.
- Support planning and implementation of each project including evaluation protocols, scheduling and material and resource requirements.
- Collaborate with purchasing departments to procure project materials and manage stock.
- Routine maintenance of laboratory instrumentation.
- Work in accordance with Health and Safety and COSHH guidelines when handling reagents and chemicals used in automated and manual techniques.
Essential Skills:
- BSc within the life-sciences disciplines with relevant laboratory-based experience.
- Experience with GLP (good laboratory practice) in an industry setting and sound knowledge/interest in Haemostasis.
- Competent in the use of the Internet and Microsoft Windows programs including Word, Excel Power Point, and other statistical analysis software.
- Competent mathematician and statistician.
