CK Group are recruiting for an EHS Specialist to join a chemical manufacturing company, based in Derbyshire, on a temporary basis. This position will provide assistance with day to day EHS within a leading Semiconductor and Electronic Materials manufacturing company, in process safety. The salary is equivalent to £40,000 per annum.
The Company: Our client is a leading manufacturer of advanced chemicals and materials, supplying to many companies worldwide.
Your main duties will be:
- Develop, implement and manage programs and processes
- Provide guidance, leadership and technical support to facilities
- Lead the implementation and direction of EHS programs
- Implement and conduct audit and risk assessment programs
- Provide support on recurring environmental compliance obligations, including compliance recordkeeping, reporting, testing, etc.
- Develop and maintain relationships with operating plant/facility staff that support a collaborative model of providing EHS support.
Your Background:
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in an EHS role within a manufacturing environment.
- A degree in Chemistry or a related field.
- Good expertise in environmental and waste management.
- Proven experience in incident investigation.
- The ability to quickly integrate and perform effectively, as this is not a junior-level role.
It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
