Environmental and Waste Management company at their site based near Darrington on a full time, permanent basis.

A leading UK waste and resource management company, our client is part of a global group with a strong heritage in providing services for communities and businesses.

Their aim is to be the environmental company of choice, delivering change for a sustainable future.

The company's core business focuses on collection, resource recovery and renewable energy providing services for local authorities and commercial customers.

They have a number of core services including municipal services, business waste solutions, recycling and green energy.

The Operations Chemist will be based at the company's site near Darrington, easily commutable from Wakefield, Knottingley, Castleford, Leeds, Bradford, Doncaster and Scunthorpe.

Operations Chemist Role

Chemical and Physical analysis of Waste.

Inspection and testing of waste for acceptance.

Interpretation of laboratory results.

Maintenance, QC and Calibration of laboratory equipment.

Chemistry Degree/HND.

Waste/Water testing experience using spectrophotometry.

Hazardous Waste classification and consignment experience.

Driving licence in order to commute to site.
