Talentmark are recruiting for a temporary Laboratory Technician, on behalf of a leading multinational producer of household plastic products, on a minimum contract of 6 months, with high likelihood to go permanent. This is a full time position, 35.5 hours per week. Monday to Thursday: 9am - 5pm, Friday: 9am - 3pm, based at their site in Cramlington.

Salary: Starting from £29,000 per annum (pro-rata for a 6 month contract).

Your main duties will be:

  • Carrying out laboratory testing of materials and samples.
  • Recording and reporting test results.

Candidate requirements - skills and experience:

  • BSc, MChem, MSci Degree or HND/HNC in Chemistry, Materials Science or a related field.
  • Must have a full UK Driving Licence, be able to drive and have access to a car.

It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
