Talentmark are currently recruiting for a Technical Sales Representative on behalf of a global manufacturer of precision measuring instruments and equipment, on a permanent basis.

This position is field-based, with regional travel across the Midlands. The ideal candidate will be West Midlands based.

Standard hours are Monday – Friday 8:30am-5pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visit clients and potential customers to identify needs and promote company products and services.
  • Develop a strong understanding of metrology principles and applications.
  • Generate and qualify sales leads, working alongside specialists where appropriate.
  • Prepare quotations, negotiate with clients, and close sales.
  • Support exhibitions, product demonstrations, and marketing events as needed.

Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in a technical sales or field sales role within measurement, engineering, or manufacturing.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to learn complex product ranges.
  • Self-motivated and organised, with the ability to manage your own territory.
  • Full driving licence and willingness to travel within the Midlands region.

It is essential all applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
