Talentmark are recruiting for a Chemistry Project Lead to join a Pharmaceutical Services Company in Central Belt Scotland. This is a permanent role with Mon-Fri day time working hours and is site based.

The Role: This is an exciting hands-on leadership role where you will oversee scientific projects, mentor technical staff, and work with cutting-edge methods in a cGMP environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee analysis of test materials, preparation of reports, and certificates of analysis for clients.
  • Be responsible for planning and oversight of all aspects of method development and validation when required.
  • Lead, direct, and coordinate scientific projects to meet quality, regulatory, cost, and timeline requirements.
  • Support and collaborate with the Operational Leadership team.
  • Plan and deliver sample analysis in compliance with cGMP and co-ordinate new and ongoing stability studies.
  • Oversee method development and validation activities and produce and approve working protocols for analytical projects.
  • Undertake root cause analysis and define CAPA actions ensuring compliance with cGMP, SOPs, and company Quality System.
  • Lead client meetings and provide updates to leadership and clients.
  • Perform peer review of analytical data.
  • Develop and deliver scientific training for laboratory personnel.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to laboratory personnel.
  • Responsibility as an authorised signatory to release analytical data to clients.
