Talentmark are recruiting for a Clinical Development Lead to join a company in the pharmaceutical industry on a contract basis for 12 months. This role is hybrid based, up to 3 days per week in Burgess Hill.

Salary: Up to £250 per day PAYE or up to £331 per day Umbrella.
Clinical Development Lead Role:
- Lead the clinical development strategy for large studies and programs in cardiovascular and metabolic diseases.
- Work with Global Regulatory Affairs on regulatory filings and review clinical documents for international submissions.
- Act as the medical lead with health authorities and build relationships with international Key Opinion Leaders.
- Oversee communication strategies for clinical studies and represent the organisation at medical congresses and advisory boards.
- Drive competitive differentiation and innovation, and help shape intellectual property strategies.
- Coach and mentor team members to help them build their skills and confidence.
Your Background:
- You hold a medical degree or an advanced degree in cardiology, metabolic diseases, obesity or a related field.
- You have experience in academia, diagnostics, or the pharmaceutical industry in the cardiovascular and metabolic diseases area.
- You have a proven track record managing In Vitro Diagnostics or Medical Device studies across all stages of global clinical trials.
- You have led large, complex development programs and guided cross-functional, matrixed teams.
- You have a strong understanding of global standards and regulations such as ICH-GCP, IVDD/IVDR, MDR, FDA, and NMPA.
- You are willing to travel up to 25% depending on project phases.
