Role: Senior Manager, UK/IE Pharmacovigilance (12‑month maternity cover, contract basis).
- Oversee UK/IE pharmacovigilance daily operations including adverse event management, reconciliations, quality checks, and risk management activities.
- Ensure compliance with UK/IE pharmacovigilance legislation, Good Vigilance Practices, and company quality systems.
- Support and maintain the UK/IE pharmacovigilance system including local PSMF activities and compliance monitoring.
- Provide technical expertise on UK/IE pharmacovigilance regulations, including MHRA and HPRA requirements.
- Manage vendor oversight activities related to digital media monitoring, market research and patient support programmes.
- Support audit and inspection readiness activities and collaborate during inspections and audits.
Background / Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in physical or biological sciences or equivalent experience.
- Established pharmacovigilance experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Strong understanding of EU and UK/IE pharmacovigilance regulations and legislation.
- Experience with Risk Management Programmes (RMPs) and additional Risk Minimisation Measures (aRMMs).
- Previous team leadership or management experience preferred.
Location: Based at the client’s site in Bracknell with a hybrid working pattern of 2 days onsite.
