Talentmark are recruiting for a Supply Planner to join a leading global food brand company on a contract basis for 12-months. This role is based in Bournville, Birmingham (with 2 days remote working). Company: Our client is a world leader in food, confectionery and beverages. They operate in over 70 countries worldwide and currently have almost 100,000 talented employees working for them. They have a strong foundation of iconic brands, which makes them a very established company within the field. The client’s aim is to have a positive impact on the customers and the planet, while still ensuring business success. Salary: £21.58 to £26.98 per hour PAYE. Rates are dependent upon experience. Supply Planner Role: • Plan the production of products on set machines in the factory. • Create short, mid and long term supply plans for items made in house and by other companies. • Build detailed production schedules and material plans using system tools. • Work closely with plant operations, suppliers and demand teams to share information and get the plan delivered. • Meet targets for customer fill rate, stock levels and waste. • Find the cause of problems to improve the plan, and keep planning data in the system correct. Your Background: • Experience in a food or FMCG business, ideally where shelf life is important. • Experience working in an IBP or S&OP process. • Able to influence teams across the business and improve the plan. • Strong problem solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand data. • A good team player who works with many other teams every day.
